Belts started breaking at just over 30K on these tires. Impossible to get a good ride once the belts start breaking. No off roading or rough terrain usage at all. Just highway and city streets.
Just installed on my f250 diesel, about one thousand miles. No snow yet here but drive about 80 mike round trip in downpour with no hydroplaning or slipping when leaving stop lights. Do better than average in fields, clean out better than most all terrains. If they last as well as reported, they'll be the only tire style I'll buy.
Best all terrain tire I've ever owned or used. Noise is noticeable, but not obnoxious. Mileage difference on my Ram between these and stock Goodyear street tread was approximately 3 miles per gallon average. If you can deal with that, buy them.
Is Good.
Best driving tire I've had yet...from city streets to unkempt dirt roads. Durable tires that lasted quite a while.
Really happy with the Nitto Terra Grappler tires I purchased to put on my Jeep Wrangler. With only a 3" lift the ones I purchased were right between 32 and 33 inches tall. The ride on the highway was really good with no highway noise and for the light off roading I do they got me down the trail with no issues.
This is my second set of these tires and I love them. They have the off-road look with a smooth quiet ride, good traction and even wear. I will continue to choose this tire for my trucks and suvs.
These tires have been great. I have the truck about 4 inches higher than stock now with these larger tires and lift, and the truck handles just as good as when it was stock height. MY MPG have only gone down slightly and the off road traction, even in loose stuff with a 2wd, has been outstanding. I'll definitely buy these again if they keep wearing as slowly as they are.
I have 2 sets of these tires. One set on the stock rims and another set on brand new XD SPY wheels. Also, they never asked the question for noise. I have 5,000 miles on these and they are still quiet. My husband just bought a new Silverado. I am hoping to get him NITTO TERRA GRAPLERS for his truck soon...
Great tire. Looks good and performs well on and off the road.
These tires have been fantastic on our truck. We have a Sierra 1500-4whl drive-4dr. 20 inch rims with the 275 tire and got over 50,000 miles on the first set. They wear well, handle well, and have made the truck ride much nicer over all. Glad to be on our 2nd pair and will buy these again when it is time.
I bought a set of LT285/70R17 terra grapplers for my truck back in 2008. My truck had 39,000 miles when I put them on and I'm still running them today (7/2/2014)! I upsized the tire from the original size (P265/70R17). I currently have 113,000 miles on my truck and the tread is almost at the wear indicator bars. That's 74,000 miles on one set of tires! I'll probably make it to 85,000 before I need to replace them. The bridgestone dueler a/t only lasted...you guessed it, 39,000 miles. The tire is a bit stiffer due to the fact it's an LT tire and ride comfort is slightly bumpier, but never-the-less this tire has outlasted every other tire I've had. Oh yeah, they look sweet, too!
First time I've had Terra Grapplers and I've got my money's worth outta them. They work excellent in snow and ice and even better in mud. I'd buy them again when these eventually run out of tread
Looks great on my 4runner!
The tires and wheels looks and ride tremendous. The truck rides and corners great.
Great tires, the set on my truck now have over 60k miles without a problem. Great on and off-road. I would recommend these tires to anyone that wants a premium tire at a reasonable price.
I debated a long time after riding around with a MT for the last 2 years. I drive a lot and wanted to get more mileage out of my tires since the Cooper MT ran about $400 each. I tried this Nitto and I will never look back. They look great, feel great, and are so much quieter than my MT. I'm sold on Nitto from here on out.
I heard the tires wore out quickly, but I haven't noticed that yet. After 20k miles they still look new. And they have a "mean" look to them. The tires seem to grab pretty good in most terrain, although thick mud does give them a run for their money! I also live up in the mountains near Pikes Peak and the tires did fantastic grabbing through the snow on a snow covered dirt road. I like the tires so much that I just bought a set for my wife's truck!
What a great looking tire.
Great Tires! I have driven them on the street in both wet and dry conditions. I have also taken this set of tires through many off-road applications. They handled great in the mountains when I went camping I had no issues getting down or out of my campsite and we were pretty deep in the woods! I have taken the tire to the sand to hit the dunes while pulling a toy hauler and never had an issue. Great traction in the sand while towing! I have even taken these into the snow without a single issue! Love the tires. I will buy them again, which judging by the tread that I still have left after over a year and a half, won't be anytime soon!
Great tire! I can't wait to get my next set in the future.
Bought these for my daily driver. I average about 25,000 a year. I am very impressed with their longevity and their drivability. This is not a typical light truck tire. I would and will buy Nitto Grapplers again!
These have been and are great tires. To be honest they are awesome. I just love them and I will buy more tires. I had them installed and then drove to Disneyland C.A. and no problems at all, great trip. When it's dry they have great, awesome traction, and perform great in the wet. I was able to use them in the snow up in Cloudcroft N.M. They work good but only because I don't have 4wheel drive so I didn't have a chance to go up hills, but I made it to the Casino in Ruidoso N.M. Other than that they are great, they also came with great warranty of 70,000 miles, and that right there is awesome.
Best tires for my F150.
